The Tank Museum at Bovington Army Camp, tells the story of armoured warfare from World War One to the present day. Family fun of an altogether different nature can be had at Weymouth Sealife Adventure Park. The famous Chesil Beach is just under a half an hour away and lies at the centre of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. Directions

The New Inn is in the quiet village of West Knighton approximately 4 miles from the county town of Dorchester. Travelling round the A35 Dorchester bypass on the eastern side of the town, turn off when you see the sign post for Broadmayne on the A352. When you get to the village of Broadmayne you will see a garage on a cross roads, turn left into Knighton Lane. This leads straight into the village, the New Inn is approximately 1 mile from this junction.
