The Guest House is situated in the small village of Winterbourne Abbas, 5 miles west of Dorchester, making it an ideal base for touring and walking in Thomas Hardy's beautiful West Dorset and for exploring our dramatic World Heritage Jurassic Coast, including the famous Chesil Beach and Lulworth Cove. Churchview is noted for its comfort, warm welcome and delicious home cooked English Breakfasts. Proprietors, Michael and Jane Deller have been welcoming visitors to their home since 1988 and take pride in assisting guests, offering a wealth of local knowledge and information as well as guides, maps and walking books. West Dorset is rightly famed for both its beautiful countryside and dramatic coast line. Recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty, West Dorset provides glorious rolling landscapes, breathtaking views and picturesque villages, all easily reached by car, on foot or cycle, via the many miles of winding lanes, footpaths and bridleways.
